Ms. Julie van der Bliek

Julie van der Bliek is a physical geographer with more than 30 years’ experience in international development cooperation and research for development as a strategy adviser, manager and fundraiser. Before joining IWMI she worked as a consultant at the interface of natural resource management and social development across Asia and Africa. In 2003 she joined the International Water Management Institute (IWMI). She held several senior management positions at IWMI and is currently Director Partnership and Knowledge Management. She lived and worked in Sri Lanka for twenty years and is since 2010 based in the Netherlands.
