Ms. Shreya Mitra

Shreya is Senior Programme Officer, Environment, Climate Change and Security at International Alert. Her interests include understanding the links between climate change, conflict and fragility; conflict-sensitive adaptation, development and humanitarian responses; urban resilience; and natural resources and peacebuilding. Before joining Alert, she was a Researcher for the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), a Consultant for Save the Children and Social Development Direct, and a Research Assistant for the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Cities-Urban Age programme. She holds an MSc in Development Studies from LSE and a BA in Political Science from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
