Amilcar Kraudie is a practitioner from Nicaragua with close to 15 years of international development and humanitarian experience across diverse contexts, including Central Asia, West and East Africa, and especially in Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently based in Nicaragua, Mr. Kraudie is currently the Regional Emergency Manager (REM) for Latin America as well as the Global Emergency Preparedness Lead with Christian Aid, a UK-based charity that works in 37 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America and the Caribbean. His areas of expertise include field management in complex emergencies, protection and displacement issues, and working with national partners and stakeholders in strengthening the humanitarian-development nexus both in rural and urban settings
