Antonio Missiroli

Before taking up the post of NATO Assistant Secretary-General for Emerging Security Challenges, Antonio Missiroli was the Director of the European Union Institute for Security Studies between from October 2012 till November 2017. Previously, he was Adviser at the Bureau of European Policy Advisers of the European Commission; Director of Studies at the European Policy Centre in Brussels, and Senior Research Fellow at the W/EU Institute for Security Studies in Paris. He was also Head of European Studies at CeSPI in Rome and Visiting Fellow at St Antony’s College, Oxford.
