Malin Mobjörk (SIPRI)

Dr Malin Mobjörk is a senior researcher at Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and head of SIPRI’s research about climate change and risk. Malin’s expertise encompasses the intersection between climate change, security and development and how policy organizations are responding to climate risks. Malin’s recent publications involve the report ‘Climate-related Security Risks: Towards an Integrated Approach’, and the articles ‘Climate Change and Violent Conflict in East Africa: Integrating Qualitative and Quantitative Research to Probe the Mechanisms in International Studies Review and ‘Intergovernmental Organizations and Climate Security: Advancing the Research Agenda’ in WIRE Climate Change.
