Marianne Kettunen

Marianne Kettunen (MSc) is the Head of Global Challenges and SDGs Programme at the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP). Marianne’s work focuses on improving the EU’s delivery of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the greening of EU’s internal and external policies and improving policy coherence for SDGs. Marianne has over 15 years of expertise related to the EU and international environmental policy, with special focus on biodiversity policy mainstreaming to support sustainable development. She has also worked extensively in mobilizing resources for the environment, ranging from identifying opportunities for funding to assessing effectiveness of financing policy frameworks and instruments.
