About Martin Ras (UNDP)
Martin has been with UNDP for the past 7 years, serving in coordination and technical roles. He has more than 10 years’ experience supporting risk informed development and resilience with assignment in Georgia, Mongolia, Burkina Faso, Cote D’Ivoire and New York. This included leadership in developing disaster and climate risk management initiatives at community, national and global level. More recently, Martin has been leading the development of a joint UN initiative on strengthening the UN’s capacity to address climate related security risks.
Martin holds degrees in agriculture engineering and environmental science.
