Paula Caballero

Prior to joining WRI in August 2016, Paula was Senior Director, Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice - World Bank. Earlier, as Director for Economic, Social and Environmental Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, she led negotiations in international fora, including on Climate Change and Post 2015. She is widely acknowledged as the lead proponent of the SDGs and for this was awarded a Zayed International Prize for the Environment in 2014. Earlier in her career she worked with UNDP, NGO, academia, media, and the private sector, so she brings a varied perspective to her current role.
