Mission Finance Leader, EIT Climate-KIC
As Mission Finance Leader at EIT Climate-KIC, Scott and his interdisciplinary team are working to radically transform the global financial and economic systems to become the engine of the great global mobilisation as we rapidly transition to a net-zero world over the next decade. EIT Climate-KIC is the EU's main climate innovation initiative and Europe's largest public-private innovation partnership whose mission is to catalyse systemic change and achieve timely transformation through innovation.
Prior to joining EIT Climate-KIC, Scott worked with PwC in the Geneva, Tokyo, New York, London and Sydney offices, including as Director of PwC’s Disaster Risk Management practice. As global lead for the ARISE initiative (Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies), Scott worked with UNISDR and the private sector alliance members to make all investments risk-sensitive by integrating risk information into management decision-making processes and systems. Scott is an advisor to Resilience Brokers and UNISDR, and is a member of UN Global Risk Assessment Framework (GRAF) Expert Group where he co-chairs the Fostering Interdisciplinary Systems Thinking (FIST) working group.
