Professional background
Bernice Lee is Executive Director of the Hoffmann Centre on Sustainable Resource Economy at Chatham House. Until recently, she was Director of Climate Change and Resource Security Initiatives at the World Economic Forum and was for six years Research Director of the Energy, Environment and Resources at Chatham House. With degrees from Oxford University and the London School of Economics, Bernice also held positions at the Rockefeller Foundation, the UN Secretary-General’s Office, the IISS and ICTSD. In 2011, she was awarded an OBE for services to UK-China climate change cooperation in the Queen’s New Years Honours List.
